Stay in your car (or use the bike path in front of our house adjacent to 36th)

This weekend, we had someone leave a vehicle to enter the display to take a picture. This person tripped over the several cords we have in the yard and fell down. This person was ok, but several elements were unplugged and we had to go out and restore things.

As a general reminder, we recommend staying in your vehicle at all times. If you do get out of your vehicle, please stay at the edges of the road at all times and wear light clothing. Do not enter our neighbor’s private property (even to “just to take a picture”). Please stay behind our arch line at all times– it is there to make a fence which designates the perimeter of the display. There is high voltage running through the display 24 hours a day, as well as many trip hazards within the display (as the person on Sunday discovered) that could cause harm to you or our displays.

We are sorry we have to post this – we want EVERYONE to enjoy the lights safely.

Thank you!
