Christmas in July 2018

July 19th, 2018

It’s that time of year!!! We are celebrating Christmas in July! If you are in the area you can tune to 87.9FM the Sled and hear great Christmas music 🎶 now through August 3rd.
We hope everyone is having a great summer! Less than 90 days before setup begins!

Only 3 Nights Left!

January 4th, 2018

It is hard to believe we are nearly at the end of the light show season. It was a great year (we only had to partially shut the show down one night) and the traffic was manageable. This is such a big job to build, setup and present this light display. It would not be be possible without the generous help from our family and friends. THANK YOU!

Many times we questioned whether it was all worth it. As I said, it is a LOT of work. Then, something happens to make you understand why we do this. For the first time ever, we received not 1, not 2 but 3 cards/letters that were so sweet and generous that we wanted to share them here.

Thank you for a wonderful Holiday Season! Best wishes for a terrific 2018!

10 More Nights!

December 28th, 2017

The craziness has died down this week! Come out to see our lights – only 10 more nights before we pull the plug and put everything away until November. Week nights are still going to be the best. There is a new snowfall on the display and everything looks just wonderful!

A Quick Service Announcement…

December 20th, 2017

Borrowing this from a fellow decorator…
As we get closer to Christmas, weekend traffic at the display has become increasingly busy. In Fact, Thursday-Sunday this last weekend was the busiest we have EVER had! You’ll be happier if you can defer your trip out to see the lights to a weekday- we run through the Saturday after New Years Eve so there’s plenty of time.

If you do come, please use common courtesy: Don’t block driveways, the road, or the view of others watching the lights from the other side of the road. There is NO STOPPING or PARKING on 36th Avenue! Please, for your safety and the safety of others, please do not stop on 36th!

The best viewing locations are on Ensign Avenue – Directly across from the house (the view is similiar to our photo above). Additionally, we have worked tirelessly to provide more decorations and view on Ensign Avenue to the left (east of the display). There you have the best view of the pixel tree and the drive way arches PLUS up close to the 20ft tree!

Traffic works best when everyone is patient. Please remember that our neighbors are being very patient with the extra traffic in the neighborhood so show them extra courtesy. Please no honking horns, loud radios, and in general, remember this is a neighborhood, and it’s Christmastime.
